How do the free tier and trial work?
Start free with up to 3 QR codes, no card required - use it as long as you like. When you upgrade to Plus or Pro you get a 14-day trial of the paid features; your card isn't charged until day 14, and you can cancel anytime from the dashboard. We send a reminder email two days before the trial ends so nothing surprises you.
Can I really update the destination after the QR code is printed?
Yes - that's the entire point. The printed QR code points to a short URL on our domain. We redirect that URL to whatever destination you set. Change the destination in the dashboard and the next scan goes to the new one. The printed QR code itself never has to change.
Is the scan tracking GDPR and CCPA compliant?
Yes - on both. No personal data is processed or stored on our side when someone scans a QR code. We don't store IP addresses, and we don't set cookies on the scanner's device without consent. That holds across every plan, so you can hand a flyer to a California reader or an EU citizen and not worry about an analytics audit.
What happens to my QR codes if I cancel?
Your QR codes keep redirecting for 30 days after cancellation so a flyer in the wild doesn't suddenly break. After that window the short URLs return a 410 Gone with a small notice page. Re-subscribe within 90 days and your QR codes resume - same slugs, same scan history.
Will the QR codes print cleanly at small sizes - business card, packaging?
Download is SVG (infinite scale) or print-ready PNG at 1200px. Error correction is set to M by default, which gives you about 15% damage tolerance - enough to survive a logo overlay or a fold. For business-card or smaller, the dashboard warns you and bumps error correction to H automatically.
